Top Video Games to Look Forward to in 2021

New Video Games Coming Out This Year

With the new PS5 and Xbox Series X that came out not too long ago, 2021 is going to be an extraordinary year for video games with even higher quality graphics and great storylines. Here are some of the few most anticipated video games coming out in 2021.

  1. Little Nightmares II

Little Nightmares II is a prequel expanding the knowledge of the character Six. In this game Six and Mono try to escape a city of terror threatened by controlling powerful monsters that come straight out of dreams. The first game of the series was really well done and got a lot of good reviews from the community. The first game had an audience rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars. Tarsier Studios, the company behind the horror puzzle franchise looks to add even better to this next game. There are more boss fights, harder puzzles, and two characters involved.

2. Far Cry 6

The Far Cry franchise is one of the biggest games that is talked about. The series has gone on for 17 years now, and still holds original, and entertaining game play. In the new game it is said that it has the biggest playground yet it the Far Cry franchise. The game takes place on a fictional Carribean island Yora, ruled by fascist dictators who have control of everything on the island. The goal is to overthrow the fascist leaders and take over. Far Cry 6 has been delayed, but is supposed to be released later this year.

3.Resident Evil Village

After making a comeback from tons of disappointment for Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil Village plans on expanding the story on the character Ethan Winters. The Resident Evil franchise is best known for its zombie virus outbreak games, but seems to have taken a turn while still having fans on the edge of their seats. The last game started with Ethan Winters being drawn to a house down by the Louisiana Bay to find his wife Mia who was missing for 3 years. Ethan, now exposed to a new messed up world, is trying to rescue his daughter who has supposedly been kidnapped by Chris Redfield. There is currently a demo out for the new game which has gotten mixed reviews from fans. The demo holds a lot of the same type of puzzles in the last game, and hasn’t been seen as a horror game as the last one appeared to be. The demo is not related to any gameplay in the actual game however, so it may have a different feel when the full release comes out on May 7th.

4. God of War Ragnorak

The secret ending of God of War 4 revealed Thor as the next character in God of War Ragnarok. Norse mythology has become a focus of the game, and Kratos and Arteus continued their adventure in Ragnarok. A trailer plays at the end of God of War 4 if you beat it on a certain difficulty which reveals Thor possibly a boss in the next upcoming game. Some bosses have been revealed which are the royalty of Asgard, the religious viking heaven. Fans have predicted that Odin, Loki, and other norse mythology gods to be antagonists in this game.

5. Back 4 Blood

In this game, players can select to play as 1 of 4 characters Walker, Holly, Evanangelo, or Hoffman. They each have unique perks like stamina regeneration and increased melee damage to zombies.
